At 04:00 local cycle, every system in the Outer Colony—from perimeter lights to civilian wrist displays—switched to the same color at the same instant: pure cyan, bright enough to cast shadows even in enclosed rooms.

The colony grid surged. The Greenline Tower hummed with a low resonance that vibrated across the entire plateau. Patrol officers scrambled to their stations, expecting another tremor, another wave, another passing anomaly.

But this time, nothing passed.
Something arrived.

A vertical breach formed in mid-air above the central plaza—like a slit in the atmosphere itself—pouring out green and cyan light as if the sky was unfolding. From within the rift, a figure stepped forward: tall, reflective, plated in shifting sigils of light that mirrored every anomaly logged over the past nine reports.

The colony defenses armed themselves automatically…
and then immediately powered down.
Not disabled. Not hacked.
They simply stopped responding, as if refusing to target the entity.

The figure raised one hand.

Every footfall indentation recorded along the perimeter vibrated.
Every underground sensor activated.
Every chronometer synced.

And every speaker across the Outer Colony spoke in the same unfiltered voice:

Prepare for surface alignment.”

The breach sealed.
The lights returned to green.
