The Syndicate sent a team to Dockyard Theta — one of Pluto’s oldest under-ice launch bays, used for loading oxygen tanks onto outbound freighters. The dock should’ve been loud with conveyor hum and venting pressure… but when the crew arrived, everything was silent.
Not damaged.
Not sabotaged.
Just stopped, as if the entire facility had paused mid-thought.
Lights flickered in slow, unnatural waves across the loading platforms. A single tank sat on the ground — not stolen, not shipped — just placed there, perfectly upright, frost swirling at its base. When scanned, the canister’s timestamp was negative.
It was logged for departure… three hours before it was manufactured.
Something is manipulating the logistics chain, rearranging time and movement with surgical precision. Not random. Not chaotic.
Purposeful.
If the thief isn’t stealing oxygen…
they might be reordering it.
