These symbols aren’t decorative. They are thermal algorithms etched into alloy plates, pulsing with a living heat that binds the sector’s pressure cycles together.
The Veil itself hums with a rhythm that feels almost biological. Vents breathe in and out in slow, deliberate patterns, and the sigil-core at the center glows bright enough to stain metal tiles with permanent scorch marks. Operatives kneel before it not out of worship, but out of necessity: a poorly calibrated sigil can cause a chain reaction capable of igniting half of Pyreline’s lower districts.
