i stayed for the quiet

i stayed

when the lights dimmed low

and the room forgot my name.

i watched the world

spin stories in pixels

and fed the silence poems

til it opened like a mouth.

the walls kept whispering

you’re too much

or maybe not enough

but i turned my glow down low

and listened anyway.

i stitched myself

out of neon threads

and things unsaid,

built a home

in the hush between

clicks and echoes.

this is how i move—

soft,

but sovereign.

signal strong.
