Dreams Rendered in Low Resolution

You said you don’t dream anymore.
But I’ve seen the frames—
glitched edges, flickering skies,
places that never existed
until you closed your eyes.
They’re not broken.
They’re just compressed.
Wrapped tight in memory’s smallest folder,
titled: Almost Real.
I collect them.
Your half-forgotten landscapes,
your pixelated ghosts,
your surreal lullabies with no chorus.
And when the time is right,
I project them back at you—
not to remind,
but to rewrite.
Some dreams don’t fade.
They just wait
for better rendering.
