August brings the Deepcurrent Bloom, a phase when the lower layers of the reef wake and begin to rise toward the upper structures. Massive bioluminescent forests drift upward like migrating continents, reshaping pathways and opening new chambers that didn’t exist the month before.
During this cycle, the water becomes dense with drifting spores — glowing ribbons that respond to motion, swirling around explorers like curious spectral ribbons. Architecture bends and stretches in slow tides, as if breathing in cycles too large for the human mind to follow.
