They don’t light the way.
They mark the dead.
Dirt Napp says the orbs showed up before anything else. Hovering in still air. Some as small as marbles, some big enough to blink. No heat, no sound, just motion — slow, circling, patient.
He tracked them across garages, schoolyards, a playground with no laughter.
They were always a few frames ahead. Never in the same spot twice.
But always watching.
Some orbs stayed in the sky. Some entered houses.
